Moved to SliceHost
by Doug on Sep.26, 2007, under Linux
I’ve moved this blog to SliceHost! Now this site is running on a snappy Gentoo 2006.1 VPS, with Apache2 and PHP5 serving the article that you’re reading. In the course of migrating the site, the following links helped immensely:
- Check your DNS: http://pingability.com/zoneinfo.jsp
- Configuring Postfix as your MTA: http://rimuhosting.com/support/settingupemail.jsp?mta=postfix
- More Postfix goodness: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/virt-mail-howto.xml
- Installing MySQL: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/mysql-howto.xml
- Wordpress, Gentoo style: http://mormanski.net/?p=5

Seriously.
I’m nearly there. Although the blog is headed to (mt) but soon I too will actually have something running on my slice. Provided Chu Yeow keeps holding my hand.
PS H3 works. Need to go to Funan.

I must say that’s a nice move. Love Gentoo as well like we’d talked about heading towards KFC goodness. Anyway, don’t they have a newer Gentoo release?
So what you need to do now is to start hosting direct downloads of anime… You have 100GB/month of transfer, no point letting it go to waste

@Andy
Sweet! time for multiplayer online co-op on XBL.
@Chu Yeow
Didn’t updated Gentoo to the 2007 release as I wanted to get the site migrated without any fuss. Anime? Don’t know what you’re talking about….
